My main research interests can be broadly framed as vulnerable and marginalized groups and more recently the role of health care workers and social capital. Marginalized groups include studies of self-neglecters (Diogenes Syndrome) and healthcare workers in rural areas. I am currently involved in a series of studies with the Population Research Laboratory at Central Queensland University investigating loneliness, poverty and social capital.
