Dr Gail Greig is a Research Fellow within SDHI.
Gail's general area of research interest concerns the practices or collective
activities of people (especially professionals) at work and how these link to
the ways in which such work is organised. Gail is particularly interested in
studying practising and organising within publicly-funded healthcare, specifically
in the complex, situated, multi-disciplinary and inter-organisational area of
primary care, including local populations. Presently Gail is interested in collective
learning as an inherent part of practising and how inter-linked aspects of the
practice and organisation of primary care (including health policy, clinical
practice, and management and organisation) may be studied so that the role and
importance of cultural, historical, and social contextual aspects may be addressed.
